Small update... After about 2 months of searching, I finally found a transmission. Apparently B-Series transmissions are rare around my neck of the woods...

I have a few odds and ends to get still and then I'll be ready for the swap.

Still need:
Clutch/Flywheel
Starter
Speed Sensor
Exhaust Manifold
Axle/Half shaft

So far, I'm only $800 into a complete swap. When all is said and done, I'll be around the $1200-$1300 mark. Not bad for a LS swap with a GSR transmission if you ask me...

So, change in plans for this POS del Sol. No more B-Swap. Instead, I'm fixing the body, painting, then boosting the D15. Then, selling it. I want RWD.

So....small (but big to me) update... Got the rear quarter panel rust (above the rear tires, where the bumper bolts in) all fixed. Next on the list is to get the dent/damage behind the driver door fixed, which will be done within the next two weeks. After that is a new passenger fender (I get a mad discount b/c I work at a body shop, which is another reason why I got the rust fixed cheap, and am getting the damage fixed cheap). WITH the price of a fender, all the body work is going to cost me UNDER $400. This is without paint...BUT...paint will be FREE b/c my buddy is the head painter at a different body shop. My goal is to get all the work done BY the middle of Dec. After that is BOOOOOOST!

I plan to get a Civic as a second car for a winter beater. Gonna drop my B-Swap in that.

That's what I missed about being in the car 'business'. Cheap work, cheap parts, etc.
