Safety measure :what: to make sure the belts are not worn out. But like you said it dosent matter. What would be cool would be finding some used takatas from a race car that are expired. I wonder if one could find that :?:

i love my takatas... basicly anything approved (date coded SFI,FIA) i have recaros because i believe they are the best... i have takatas because i believe the same.. i am not ruching to get my car done.. so i slowly buy things as i can.. are $900 seatbelts excesive... yes.. damn straight they are.. thats why i have them... when my car is finally done.. i hope that it will be everything that i could possibly want... i used to say things like.. "i dont really need those" "ill just get the ebay black housings" and thats fine if i wasnt keeping the car.. once i realized that i want to have this car forever.. i realized that anything short of the best would be a waste of my time..

if i didnt get takatas i would have gotten crow..

and its a no brainer.. if you go with crow get them an obnoxious color.. id get purple.. = )
i was thinking about getting the one is my first post...what do you think?? should they get the job done?

i prefer the crow ones because i have personal experience with them.. the ones you posted look fine.. but the most important thing is that they are sfi or fia approved.. a seatbelts primary priority is to keep you alive.. the rest is only secondary.. so as long as YOU like it and it has approval, then its fine as far as im concerned.. stick with cam lock ive had both and cam lock is much better.. and as far as teh date codes i know shops that have inspected and resated belts.. it will cost you but its WAY cheaper than new... i dont know if thats legal or not but ive known it to be done...

I am not worried about legality I live in louisiana, I know more than 10 guys runnig straight pipe and calling it an exhaust kit, I once got a brake tag with a busted horn, and there all cars and trucks all over town that scrape the road as much as they dont scrap the road.
