Whats the difference between a regular short shifter and dual bend short shifter? Which is a better shifter: B&M or Skunk2? The Skunk2 is the dual bend.

skunk2 is taller than stock. it is a short throw shifter. i have the skunk2, and i cut it a little, i love it.
not real sure of the dual bent thing, but yeah, im sure its just more ergonomic so you dont have to reach, and better for hitting the gears.

dual bend is closer to u...the single or factory is at the same spot as ur stock shifter..but...just alot shorter...get the skunk2 if u got the $$$but..if u dont ..go with B & M its not as expensive and there really good short shifters..

the skunk2 sits awesomely, I have it too and wouldnt trade it for any other shifter... I wouldnt worry about hight because it still looks awesome. Go with the Skunk2 bro, and get the dual bend, it does put it closer so you dont have to reach as far on shifts

what do you guys think of this one?

Has anyone had any experience with this shifter? I currently have a del sol shifter in my car and it is real low so I have to reach when in 3rd and 5th gear in order to rest my hand on. I don't feel a difference in shifts compared to my stock one. Just that the del sol is lower. It also looks kinda ugly because my shift boot sags.

I just want something that looks good and dual bend for an easy reach. It's fairly cheap and fits my budget. I'm really just looking into things that will make driving real easy, comfortable, good gas mileage, and reliable. For example, power steering, power windows, power locks, a decent system, a decent security, as much luxury as possible like leather gsr seats, and anything else I can find to pimp this car out as possible. It's definitely not for racing (but I'll probably get picked on and revved at by ricers), just to be daily driven and for show. (not body kits, but lip kits and basic bolt-ons, dropped, 16" rota c10s or 8s, which ever I can find cheaper)

How long did it take for it to arrive at your place? What did you pay for it? I just don't want it snapping on me like what happened to my friend's dual bend shifter. Not sure if it was Billet or not, but it snapped on him and he had to call me to pick him and his girlfriend up from 30 miles out. God damn was I pist. Made me miss out on "That 70's Show".

u can get a b&m shifter for 40...might as well spend the extra money on something that wont break or snap...

I have a B&M with the prothane bushing kit and man did it shorten the throw. the bushings really helped out with tightening it up. mine's just a straight, no bend, it took some getting use to. the height dropped about 1 or 2. factory knob still works
