Short throw shifter

So just for the hell of it I bid on a B&M short throw shifter on e-bay with 8 hours left i bid 2 dollars higher and won, hmm go figure but the real question here is im deciding if I want to put the shifter in my car. So for all you out there with short throws are they worth it? that is my question what are peoples thoughts on short throws?

I like short shifters personally they have a better feel to them, they really dont help you shift faster. If you won it why not put it in.

u can get up to 3 NPB's (non baying bidder), after the 3rd one u get banned from ebay

yeah the first to second shift can be a little shakey sometimes...for me it fine when i am driving aggressively, but just creeping through traffic sometimes...going first to second, back to first, etc..

i hear ya.. i have pretty decent control over my first gear, a lot more than i had a few years ago, but shifting to 2nd when the revs are high sometimes f**ks with my shifter

I don't find the 1st-2nd shift awkward, putting it in 5th gives me trouble.
