Slidder55...did u get new bushings with your shifter or does it still feel mushy?

i would def. go back and put in new bushings for your shifter if u didnt. feels a lot more stiff but it breaks in in a month and is a big difference. its only like $15 for a set.

B&M has good short shifters. $42 is a good price. i paid $13 for my cheap ebay one and it works just as well. i drive the s**t out of it too

bushings are a must. does the short throw make it a smother shift? or just a shorter one.

Shorter...the design makes it smoother, the B&M is weighted to be smoother. I have one and love it.

Yeah I need to get some bushings it seems a little loose when I shift it! but its deffinatly a cool sensation when I shift still getting used to it, I hate reverse it kind of funky, I believe it was used the guy I bought it from said new but when I recieved the shifter there was grease in the bottom where you connect to the shift rod. but its in perfect condition not a scratch on it! but Im going to get a shift stabilizer it needs it. oh well it was a fun little project. oh and no it doesnt help the shifting just makes the distance you shift shorter I like it I was always grabbing my stock shifter down low, now I dont have too.
