Short Throw Shifter

Looking for a good short throw shifter. Adjustable would be nice and not too much to cough up I have a budget unlike some people. Any help guys??

i wouldnt recomend adjustable gets loose after awhile and could mess things up but my fav has always been b&m very short throw,smooth and solid

Dont get an adjustable one, they are s**t....If you et a short throw, make sure it is steel, not the cheap as aluminum ones..My recommendation is the Skunk2 short shifter..its a 1/4" taller than the stock shifter, but makes the throws about 40-50% shorter.....If you are tall this is nice because you dont have to hunch over to get the shifter..good luck

Do not buy one off ebay. Save a few pennies and buy a good one. I purchased a B&M and love it. Would strongly recommend it. It is shorter and stock and a nice smooth shift.

How does it mess up your syncros or whatever?? Haven't heard that one before, elucidate....

shortening the throws of your s**t will lead to synchro grinding. you know how if you shift REALLY fast, y ou can grind em sometimes?? well this will happen ALOT easier. your stock throw is there for a reason. its so it allows the synchros to SYNC up before you shift your gear. the best shifter you can get is probably this one..... http://www.hondaswap.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=25949&hl=shifter and you think this is a dumb idea.... why do you think f1 drivers have paddles and wrc drivers have their shifter right next to the steering wheel???

Because for F-1 and WRC you can afford the lack of control by keeping your hand off the wheel. I don't think any one on here is using thier civics for WRC or F1. A shifter like that might be good for a road course but for everyday driving.....Yeah I think it is dumb!

Skunk2 short shifter is the best shifter out there.....1/4" taller than stock shifter, and the throw is 40% shorter....

to clear up what that guy said earlier.... they will mess up your synchros if you suck at shifting like him. but if you dont have the problem of missing gears all the time like him... it wont mess them up
