I have a b18c R in my 97 ex, sounds alot alot like yours. Mine is all stock except for an aem intake, tanabe exhaust, and a 55 wet shot of zex . I still have stock gauges and I take mine till it hits black on the tach, which is a little over 8500.

i have some video at my house that i need to get on the comp... but my camera doesnt have any usb interface.
i have vids of me racing things like mustang gt's, a tt awd dodge stealth, and a boosted sohc hatch...

can hear you shifting up into 3rd while on vid the revs are still sloooowly climbing in 1st
