boost to over 200? from a stock of 102?
wow.
I hope you really put some work into the bottom end before you try that...
But I think it's good you want a quiet car. Sleepers are more fun to drive in my opinion.

Update ony My Project

Hey, the alternator and new battery get installed tomorrow (Sunday), so tomorrow is the fire up dat. Wish me well. I love sleepers, too. BTW, it's a four door (no snickering, please). Yeah, I want to get more hp out of this stock engine. I probably will swap to a b12 V-tech, or just trade this in for a later modeled civic EX later on. But for now, this is my car. It has some rust on the nuts and bolts and the throttle line, but that should be easy to take car of. Like I said, the car was running fine whe I purchased it, but has been idle for about 14 months.

A Match

Throw a match in the gas tank? You know, that should get her fired up. Which brand of matches to get that fast, efficient fuel burn going in the tank

IT MOVED

Hey, everyone, I'm back and I'm happy to say that the 94 Civic DX started RIGHT up without a "putt, putt, putt," just like you guys said she would. That baby just roared right up. All I had to do was change the alternator and get a new battery. Now, I have to replace two of the wheels (slow leaks) and get the tuneup, then she is on the road. ONE THING maybe you guys can help me with. My mechanic (who drinks too much beer) says that I should put some dry gas in the tank for the first few months, because the car has been idle for about 16 months, and some deposits could have built up. He says this will alleviate the problem. He, also, says that SHOULDN'T change the transmission fluid. I this guy drinking too much or what? Please answer and add on. I will be posting picks soon. These Hondas are built for BUSINESS, baby.
Thanks for everything, guys and gals.

i had my civic stored for 5 months in a garage. i got a new battery and change the oil before i even started it on 1/8/04. it started fine, so i let it run for like 3 hours so all the fluids can go where they have to go. i drove like 5 min to the AUTOZONE to buy all new fluids and s**t. on my way back home, the motor started knocking. after that, it started smokin white, then black, then knocking harder. next thing i know, i had to replace the engine because the pistons or some s**t f**ked up in the bottom end and it was gonna be too much money to rebuild it. hope this s**t dont happen to you. good luck bro.
