edit: another reason that sounds stupid is horses are more expensive than cows, y the hell would they spend more on worse meat

It's no more expensive really... and it's not worse me, it's actually very high quality meat... somewhat like deer meat, and it's a lot healthier is why they use it.... you never hear about horse slaughter houses because the majority of horse meat is exported to other countries.
Nothing illegal about it though ... only thing I can think of that it's illegal to kill and eat are human beings.

Damn... now I'm hungry again... time to run grab a bacon ultimate cheese burger (haha... dead cow, cow milk, and pig meat on a bun)

i coulda swore a horse would cost more than a cow, especially if you say the meat is better and healthier, horses can be used as pets and racing and stuff, and theres an abundance of cows compared to horses, and horses live longer, i dont see one reason for cows costing more than horses

i didnt read all of these posts, but my girl is a member of peta, not avid or anything, she just gets mails and such. she showed me this video a while back. and i delved further into it myself and became disgusted with the way these animals are raised and slaughtered... i no longer eat meat.. i took it to heart and think twice about what i eat. and since ive done that, there is A LOT of other food possibilities out there that you really dont think to look at.... if you can eat meat after this or any of the peta videos i do believe that you cant be right in the head

im not a tru vegan, they dont eat ANYTHING associated with animals... milk, cheese, anything like that.

word to that man your body needs carbohydrates to break down proteins. these (atkins etc) diets can do serious harm to your body in the long run. there is no balance to them . didnt watch the video. don't care. been vegan for almost 10 years and I get all my vitamins beotch.

I'm sure we can all agree that the killing in that video is the most cost effective. Yet we still have humans that can't afford a pound of hamburger.

I'm sure we can all agree that the living space of those animals is making the most of the space. Yet we still don't have enough food to feed everyone.

Boo hoo. Poor cow. Check out a video of children living in poverty.

We need to find a way to breed cows more effectively. They should be popping them out like rabbits.
