Snap-On Or Mac???

I have my order finished up. I'm going with Mac. I'm getting there master sets 1-8 plus the 19 drawer tech series box top and bottom. Pretty stoked to get my tools!!

How much did you just spend? I hope like hell you didn't finance them either.

Also just getting into the automotive program going with high dollar tools off the bad is a bad idea. IMO going with Craftsman would have been a better idea. Trust me I have been there, I didn't buy the high dollar stuff. I cant tell you how many guys I have seen in school that figured out auto industry is not for them and then they went into debt over tools that wont use later on. I have known more than a few that have sold them for less than what they bought them.

Yea hell no I didn't finance it. Also not worried about not wanting to be an auto tech after school. I have a career my rental houses do very well for me I just wanted to go to school to learn the ins and outs of all things auto. Tired of only knowing enough to get myself in trouble. as for the tools. I've been wanting a nice good set of tools for some time. Why not take advantage of 60% off student pricing?

Sounds good man! Take some pics once everything comes in! Sounds like you might be getting the same box I've been thinking about getting- the 19 drawer Mac Tech series? I think model number is 1080 or something like that? Brand new boxes are just so damn expensive. Even though I could find used boxes for alot cheaper, I'd be nice to buy a brand new one. My buddy said he'd hook me up on a price so still might go through with it next month.

Yea man I actually heard about that over on carolinahondas page. I can't make it this weekend I've got family in town but def excited to learn about some local meets!
