So, put on some 11.1" rotors with the calipers today. You can see how close the clearance is to the inside of the wheel. Stops AMAZINGLY. So, my conversion to the front type R brake setup is complete, now its just the rear

Nice work, does the new rotor eliminate the need to grind the caliper brackets?

the brackets, no. BUT, it does eliminate having to grind the pads. But, instead of grinding pads, you have to re-drill the rotors. So either way, its a great setup - however, there's some work involved.

haha thanks. The nice part is, one you have the caliper bracket grinded and have ex knuckles, you can use NSX 2 piston calipers. My friend at the moment is fabbing up a way to use 4 piston RL calipers (that he picked up for $140 compared to $1500 spoon calipers.

Sure, $110 for calipers, $100 for the rotors (new / re-drilled) and you'll be set. Haha that reminds me though, you have something I want. PM'ed.

Nice well worth the wkr
Definetly is, stops on a dime. Its a bit unbiased with the rear only 9.5", but ill be getting the ep3 rear calipers and 10.3" rotors here soon.

Ok. This might be a huge list of parts but what is all required to do this? Going from an EX.

its actually not as bad as you might think.

Youll need (in parts):

1) ITR calipers (with mounting brackets / pads)
2) 11.1" Prelude VTEC rotors (94-98)

Then... (in service):

1) 3mm grinded off the caliper mounting brackets
2) the rotors redrilled to 4x100 lug pattern

I have a friend with both the parts AND the services avaliable. Just let me know.

What would the cost be for parts and services? would I also have to upgrade the brake booster and lines as well?
