Can I get a run down of the hood/engine shot? I think I know how to do it but I want to do it the right way. Great Pics though, I wish we had places like that to shoot pics. John

Take a picture with the hood up, and with the hood down. Do NOT move the car and do NOT move the camera (this will require a tripod).

Open both pictures up in some program like Photoshop, and move the one with the hood up as the bottom layer. Then take your Polygonal Lasso Tool and basically select your head, but leave space between the selection and the lines of your hood/fenders. Now feather this image to your liking, and press delete. This will make the background image (your engine) show through but fade into the rest of the car. It might take you a few tries to get it right.

If you'll take the pictures, I'll do it for you and write a tutorial for everyone. If not, I'm shooting my car tonight and will do it this weekend sometime.
