Something that kinda made me mad today.

If people who read things i post on here didn't all ready know, I am 17 years old, and play drums for the school band. Well, today, we were riding to a band competition in a city about 30 minutes from where I live, and all of a sudden, I saw a pepto-bismol pink Honda civic hatchback. It was like.. a 91 civic. It was really clean looking from what i could see. But anyway, the colour really pissed me off, and since i am a member of a civic forum site, I figured I would share that information with you guys.
by the way, the school band made superior ratings with distinction.. in other words, it means that we are pretty much the best high school band in northern Alabama, if not, all of Alabama.

should of took pic of the civic... what instrument do you play? i use to rock the clarinet back in 5-8th grade.you know what makes me mad? The fact that you're from Alabama and you spelled color like a Brit... I really really hate British English, don't ask me why.

ooohhhhhh!! im surprised it took this long for that to come up...
That's a random story, OP, but i know what you mean. Pink really doesn't make me mad; but there is this one pink 2000 Eclipse with white "ripped" style graphics all over it that drives by our band hall every morning before school. It's got a 5" rice cannon that sticks out like a foot behind the car. Excluding the thick hot pink paint, and what looks like (literally) a few mm's worth of clear coat (the car looks like a glazed donut,) the cannon would be the only non-stock part of the car. That kindof makes me mad. It just happens to be pink, but I've got nothing against the color.
Congrats on your band though. Ours got straight 1's in marching, concert, and sight-reading for the 2nd year in a row. we have around 80 people in the wind ensemble, and not including axillary or pit, we marched around 60, which is pretty big for our size school; 3A. We dropped to 2A though, we missed the mark by under 10 students, so now we are one of the biggest "small schools" in the entire state. There are some videos on Youtube of us, just search "C.H. Yoe Band." I'm a Texas All-State bass trombonist, btw =D
