Oh this thread brings back memories...

I had a high school friend whos dad was (and still is I believe) the president of north american xerox. I remember one time I was over there with some friends and we were chillin in his room and my friend opens a drawer to find a s**t ton of crumpled bills stuffed in there. So he pulls them out and starts counting lol. It was nearly $600 and my friend goes "oh yeah thats just pocket change I throw in there". wtf? I wish I had $600 pocket change. His house had an intercom system, heated floors, the whole 9. He was pretty popular among our group of friends and his house was definitely the #1 place to go to hang out lol .

Now, as far as I know, his family is completely disfunctional and falling apart. Lifestyles of the rich and the famous. Gotta love it.

i wish i won the lottery or something... it would be nice to turn my life around...

lets turn this thread into a "what would you do if you won powerball"

personally...

id take the anuity.. so that means id get paid every year...

and.. id buy a house prolly no more than 1 million... or id have one built for less.. and to my specifications.

id buy myself a brand new truck... as well as a few new toys... id pay off my parents mortgage.. and maybe buy them a car....

i will not buy a ferarri.. or a lambo... sorry... just not for me.

might buy a small vacation home somewhere...

thats about it really... i dont have huge dreams... but i just want a house the way i want it... like a custom deal.. dont need no mansion... something to live comfortably in.


and then... id live off the interest for the rest of my life...

i figure... if i win the lotto at 175 million... i should be good..

i dont have a drug problem.. so... no need to worry there... and i dont have people that would show up out of the woodwork asking for money...

and if someone did need money... they better have a damn good reason.. and i better see the money go to what they say... or ill repo anything thats left.. and im not f**king around either.

I agree. I would also take the payments every year. I would DEF quit my job. I would just live comfortably for the rest of my life. No lambo's here either. I would have a truck, and a weekend car, which would total out to about 100k for both after buying them and whatever work I want to do to them. I would buy a comfortable house for me and my dad in a nice neighborhood, about 1/4-1/2 acre back yard, have a 2-3 car garage . I would retire my dad so he wouldnt have to work anymore, keep him comfortable. And honestly, I would live life for about maybe a year or so. Do vacations and s**t. Then, I think I would go back to school and get my bachelors degree, just so I could say I was edumacated . I would also make sure I had enough put aside to put my kids through whatever college they wanted to go to.
