That Jetta didn't get spanked as badly as I thought it would have. It stayed with the SRT-4 for much of the way, I'm impressed.

honda does have alot of aftermarket support.... it just happens to be in the realm of altezza's, bodykits, and big spoilers.
the srt4's factory upgrades alone put it in the low 13's...... stock it runs high 13's/low 14's.... if i were you i'd invent a time maching, go back, kick your own ass, and buy the srt4

the stock internals of the srt4 can handle over 500hp.... the thing is built for upgrading

and andrew... the VW lost by like 3 car lengths with more mods, how much do you want him to lose by in a wacked street race?

doesnt sound right how? the gs-t's and gsx's were running somewhere around 10-12.

He means it doesnt sound right compared to a boosted honda motor... well boosted honda motors usually run much higher compression than factory boosted motors. on a honda 7-9psi is pushing the limits of stock internals whereas cars like the srt4 and dsm's can handle 20psi+ pretty easily and still be reliable.

some people need to stop reading those tuner mags an pull thier heads outta thier ass, srt-4 is the second fastest factory car dodge has ever produced second to the viper. 13 seconds is some fast s**t. and why would you wanna buy a car with the intent to turn it into something its not, whereas the srt - already is- plenty of tyle and balls to hang with faster cars on the road

werd to that i m thinking about getting an srt-4 they are a hell of a lot fast than what my 4 door d16y8 will ever be

Well actually, if they still made the Stealth TT then it would be the third. And the 300C can beat it to 60 stock. When the SRT-6 and SRT-8 come out in the Charger and supposedly the Crossfire, it'll fall even more in the lineup. But promises are to make an SRT of every model, which would mean an SRT Caravan.
