Reasons to chose one brand over another (for general aftermarket auto parts):
- Price.
- Reliability.
- Performance / Engineering.
- Aesthetics.
- "Bling" factor (i.e., the name).

For example.... my car... if I were buying a manifold for my car looks would play a part. I know not everyone would agree with that though (just like some might be okay with a part that isn't the most popular brand name or the most/least expensive).
Yeah, see I wouldnt care if my mani was s**t brown, if it did its job and was up to my standards, then its a go for me

Im a bang for the buck type person.. My stuff doesnt always have to be polished ..

the debate could go on for days, but in reality being "fast" isnt going to be reliable if you cheap out

I ran one for a year and a half before I sold my car.... no complaints. Depends on whether or not you care if you have a name under your hood. Also, the power that you gain from a new mani is minimal. Why would you pay hundreds of dollars for 5hp????

its for booossstttt. i gott he turbo and all i just needed a mani for it. i did a quick search for gsr and dsm and this came up. i thought about it and wanted everyones opinion. im still debating...
