Heres the first step in my boost project...

I bought a b18b longblock out of a 95 integra LS
I plan to rip the longblock apart completely and rebuild
heres a few shots i took after i got it home.

Into This

**Plans**
9:1 JE Pistons
Eagle H Rods
Skunk 2 Intake Manifold
Possible Head work

boost to come

**Ripping Apart**

My brother (Newspeed) and i, ripped the engine apart. It was really fun, and i cant wait to get the engine stand to complete the tear down!

before shot

Valve cover taken off, some part cleaner used, to get grim off

Exhaust cam removed, intake next.....

Head finally off, those blots were a pain, without my brothers air gun!!!

cams getting hung out to dry....

i wonder why it was burning oil??

old head gasket

valves need some cleaning, better yet, new valves

The tools i needed (organization is your friend when dealing with bolts, and random pieces)

Packed away, until i get an engine stand this weekend...

hope you didn't pay to much for that motor, it looks like its been sitting in the rain or something, but lucky you, you got a place to store and work on that motor, i hate living in an apartment! good luck with the build

I didnt pay to much at all for that motor, 100 bucks canadian so thats like 80 some dollars in your american money. I plan on stripping the whole motor and building it back up so i will send the block and head to get cleaned and checked up, so dont worry too much about the condition right now. This motor will be built for boost....not Jezek boost...but daily driver boost.

plans include a t3/t4 turbo
spoolinperformance log mani, downpipe
precision 440 injectors
tial 38mm wastegate
tial BOV
walboro 255 fuel pump
hondata s200

this will probably happen over the next year or 2 because im still in school and moneys not falling off the tree

225 at the wheels is easily doable on a stock d-series motor.....if your gonna invest that much money into a b-series, i hope you will shoot for more than 300 wheel....but your plans sound real good

im still doing the tranny swap. This build is going to take me a while. So right now im buying the last parts i need, and getting comfortable with the manual swap. Then in a year or so, drop the boosted b in there, and sell the d or keep it and find a cheap shell for a winter car :D
