the neuspeed...on the 92-95's and del sols bolts to the car, not the bolts on the shock tower itself. on 96-00 im pretty sure it bolts to the shock tower...

the comptech bar is exactly like my type r bar I got for like 50 bucks....I like my bar, its defintly better than nothing, but it doesnt compare to bars that are just all welds and no bolts like neuspeed and carbing..

yea i said the compech is ONE of the best. not the best. The carbing is the best in my opinion but most people dont have that kind of cash for a strutbar. Thats wierd all the comptech ones i have seen were welded. Damn they must have changed thier design????

NO IT WILL NOT FIT. im 99% sure it will not fit. if its the tower strut bar it will not work for LX models. the LX modes does not have the 4 bolts. from my knowledge, and from the LX models i seen, i havnt seen one with those 4 bolts. double check your car. my girl wanted to put my stock si tower bar on her 99 lx, it didnt have those bolts, then i check my friends 97 LX. i didnt have it etheir. DOUBLE CHECK BEFORE YOU BUY IT. you can get a strut bar, its connects to the strut.

Type R strut bar on a 5th gen sedan with short ram intake...

and to all of you out there who think that you need to spend 100+ dollars on a strut bar.... youre wrong.. any piece of metal goin from strut tower to strut tower THATS TIGHT will work the same... although the type r strut bar doesnt really work because there ISNT any adjustments to make it tighter... but they look cool

I installed my type R strut today on my 98 LX. I had to drill holes for the strut bar to mount and saw about 1 CM of my intake down cuz the strut touched the breather and prevented it from fitting. It fits perfect and it works well!

lx's dont have throttle bodies like the dx.....its just that their intake mani is kinda...weird.

6th gen specifically... 5th gen all the intake manifolds are the same with the exception of the CX
