Stupid Window tint ticket...

I was on highway getting on it in 3rd...4th...to 5th and by time I let off gas in 5th to go back to 55mph a Georgia State Trooper was on my ass. He said he was on other side of highway heading in op. direction and thought my muffler was really loud. My exhaust is header and straight pipe except for cat. He said giving me warning on speeding cause didn't know if I was speeding.He then did my tint and said it was to dark and wrote me a ticket for it. On the ticket it shows ______ in a 55 mph zone which I thought was funny. It doesn't show how dark my window tint was either. Also shows warning for Speeding and Exhaust.In the end I know a detective that said he will get it dismiss in 3weeks before the 30 day ends. Stupid labor day.

lol ....my ext is stock bumpers with stock lights thank you.Sad part is its the same trooper that tried giving me a ticket when I wrecked my 240 year ago.

I'm sure you are bright enough to understand that stock bumpers and lights mean nothing when you are running illegal tint and aftermarket mods.

What is the prefer tint for everyone or just none?

Legal limit in Kentucky is 30% for all windows excluding windshield so that's what I'm doing after other mods.

we can do 20% here all around and 6 inches down on the windshield (visor section) but im not going any darker then 35%.

Anyways you deserve the ticket for not checking local laws. And god forbid that officer do his JOB.

ga is 32% at least in my county... i have 8% but i work for the sheriff's office... so just check your local laws...

OP, you can fill out a form thats on the dmv website saying you get headaches from the sun and if you get your doctor to sign it, it shows up on your registration and cops will never pull you for having windows tinted too dark.

Here in PA there is no acutal "legal" limit.. the front windows can't be tinted at all. It's just a matter of how dark they look that will get you pulled over or not, that's probably why he didn't write a percent.

my point was the fact that he attracted the cop to begin with, then the cop noticed the tint. He wasnt after the OP simply because of his tint.
