yup, that is where mine is placed.1995stockcivic said:place the box facing the trunk lid behind the seats, less cancelation, better sound
yeh, I'd miss having a back seat, usable trunk space and the pass through for long stuff. I usually take out the sub completly when I am hauling stuff.krayziejcs said:a long time ago i saw an 01 civic w/o a back seat and instead it had 2 15's if i'm not mistaken, i dont really know how they sound since the car was off, but i wouldnt give up my back seat for subs

I disagree. Mines facing the trunklid midway and I get better sound quality and volume for every genre of music than facing the back of the seats.that VERBAL said:Depends on the kind of music you listen to, face them towards the trunk if you listen to Hiphop/electonic
but if you listen to rock you want them facing the seats.
i agree with that, for rock i just switch my subs from 50Hz to 80Hz, they sound like absolute s**t if i turn them around facing the back of my seat. but it is just a normal box, next time i am getting a bandpass. but i might have a diff car by then.booze_b said:I disagree. I ask you to reconsider bandpass and go tri-tuned. Better response and louder. Cannibal Corpse sounds sooo much better loud.itsmycookie said:i agree with that, for rock i just switch my subs from 50Hz to 80Hz, they sound like absolute s**t if i turn them around facing the back of my seat. but it is just a normal box, next time i am getting a bandpass. but i might have a diff car by then.
i dunno i might not even be able to get two subs in the back. next car i get will probably be a del sol or a crx. i f**kin love them del sols. we'll see in time.booze_b said:I ask you to reconsider bandpass and go tri-tuned. Better response and louder. Cannibal Corpse sounds sooo much better loud.
