they squirt fuel into the cylinder which creates combustion. just runs some good injector clean like bg44 or lucas. no need to change them you will throw money down the drain

LOL this guys gonna f**king hate us. Best thing to do (I learned the hard way), RESEARCH AND GOOGLE. Look up "tune up civic" on Google, you'll find a s**t-ton of articles and threads. Then if you're interested in some aftermarket stuff, look up "what does a cold air intake do". Then, for example, if you decide you really do want one, Google "best cold air intake". I'm sure club civic and honda-tech are some of the first links to pop up. By the way, I made a huge ass list of some of the mods I'm going to make, and it might give you a good start/idea of what you want to do. I've done waaaaaaaaaaaay too much research, even on something as simple as the best engine bay cleaner lol. My mod list is nice, message me if you're interested.

Google is your best friend, but don't for the love of God forget to change the vtec fluid. It's one of the most important fluids to change. I'm pretty sure you're gonna have more problems with that car than you bargained for.

^Exactly. Also, were you talking to me when you asked if that was quality stuff? Or were you referring to the tune-up kit?

Because the vtec fluid is almighty. It would be like trying to drive your car without oil. As for the tune-up kit, don't get it. Just buy all OEM parts. Make sure they're OEM though!! I'd rather not take chances with something like the kit you posted up.

why you think that lol? keep everything changed and should be good
No matter how you cut it chubway ain't gonna pay to change everything, s**t ain't cheap. As you said you were gonna be paying everything besides the cost of the car. That job ain't gonna be providing.

Do the tune-up yourself. Why pay someone $400 to do it? Buy a manual and learn. It's fun (atleast to me :P). Plus it saves you money.

If you want our opinions we've all given it to you, when you purchase the car do a tune up on it and don't touch it, at least until you can get a full time job. But if you absolutely feel the urge to mod it now, stick too cosmetics.
