ic, well so far i haven't had any problems so that is a good sign for skunk2 and tokico. But who knows what is gonna happen two years down the road. it was food for thought about mixing tokico and skunk2, but i can understand the mixing idea

well thats what i am saying, if skunk2 or GC designed their system to work with say KYB's or tokico's or bilsteins then it would be a lot better but i think thats kinda shitty that they don't do that and they wont recommend a shock that will work well with their system

ya totally agree. damn the man. it would be hella nice to know what to use the coils with, it's a hit a miss kinda thing. but as of now i would say that skunk2 will work with tokico and i would say not to use the kyb's i hear that you need to replace them after a year, so they aren't that realiable. just an fyi on the kyb's and what i have heard

i have been using KYB's for a couple of years now, using them with Ground controls w/ 400lbs springs in the front and 300lbs springs in the rear, then i changed to progress auto swap springs (a lowering spring) and still have had no problems, i am going to be chaning to an imported set of TEINs for my car as soon as i can front the roughly 2g's

nice well that's good to know. what kyb's do you have? cause it's good to know that they last longer then a year, lol. well i will have to reinform all of my friends who told me otherwise. thanx for the info. the tein full coils are really nice, i have been in a accord wit them and they ride smooth

i am using the AGX's, its all in how much you lower it, no shock will last long if you slam the car to the ground, not to mention you are not gaining anything by having the car that low, my car is about a 1.75" w/ the GC's and 2" w/ the progress auto springs and its pretty smooth, just not as smooth as i would like it to be due to the aggressive spring rates, thats why i will be changing to tein, its go the same kind of aggressive spring rates with a damper thats designed for those spring rates and to work in conjunction w/ those springs

where to get this basic tein kit?

well, GC actually does recommend what shocks to use... to a certain extent.

coils for bilstein shocks or koni shocks cost $339.00

actually thats not a recommendation, the koni's and bilsteins require some different mounting hardware and that is why they differentiate them

ok, i think tein is top of the line when it comes to suspension, but if you want something else ( i love adjustable stuff for suspension) then look into coilovers, etc. i've heard ground control springs w/ koni yellow shocks are very sweet... in the end it's up to you and what you want your ride to feel like and how you want it to handle!

everythign except tein sport springs are just as if not more adjustable than any shock/coilover combo you buy separately.
