tachometer setting....

I got a 1995 civic dx. I was wonderign what i should set my tachometer at so the shift light goes off. Thanks for helping me.

i have a 1994 dx and i set it at like 6200.... have you noticed that around 4000 your car starts pulling really hard?

I've got the same car and I believe the DX motor is the same as the LX motor which is redlined at 6800. So I set my tach at 6500

i say u set at a lower RPM like 5 so it jus goes off...personally i like those shift lights/tach

I'm not sure what the hell my car is, 95 4dr w/d15b7 and 5 sp. It just said special edition on the back, no lx or anything. I have noticed the car pull hard when it gets up there but I have no tach so I dont know when...

neaky u have the same engine as me. ITs 102 hp with 98 lbs of torque. i liek the little power boost. Its fun. LOL(SOMEONE HELP ME PLEASE GIVE ME A DOHC VTEC)

yeah it does for a sohc vtec. Idk tho so i aint gonna be sayin nuttin.

nope i swear that i rev that high on my car, maybe if you ask real nice i will let you know what you need to do to your sohc to get it to do this..

yea, the redline is at 7000 on my ex, an auto trans shifts at 6800 is its gunned. So i will ask nicley, how did you get your car to rev that high. I dont think i would do that, cuz i want my car to last a long time, but i would still like to know. spank you very much
