it cant be 8500 cause after 7000 ur engine wants to shut down because of the rev limiter

is the rev limiter controlled by the ecu? after any of my mods, esp exhaust, my car was hitting higher RPMs than ever before shifting...

no the ecu controles the rev limiter so mine doesnt want to "shut down" by the way its 7500 rpm not 7000
