I didn't give him time to get ready, I just gave him one.

but if you're thinking weight reduction then you're thinking your civic as a race car. I suggest gut the whole thing. It be stupid imo to take a few parts out for weight reduction then leave your seats, carpet, panels etc....

If you don't need them, the rear seats saves a lot of weight.

haha all 20-30lbs.. foam on body and MDF with foam (basically)

to get the most weight off. Anything unnecessary for operation can go

dont know if yall have thought about it but if you really wanna get crazy with weight reduction take out sound deadening material and take out heater/blower if this aint a dd. also if you dont mind a small workout if you have power window take them motors and get manual accutators (sorry i went brain dead on the word for em) also remove passenger air bag. just some ideas to throw out for you

i dont recommend gutting the interior if this is your daily driver and/or weekend autox car. you'll throw off the weight balance and the car will become even more front biased than it already is. the car will handle worse and you'll get massive understeer. the trick to weight reduction in a FF car is pulling more out of the front than you do the back.

if this car is for drag racing, then by all means gut the b***h out. pull everything out of the motor bay 'cept the motor tranny battery and radiator, then strip the interior to bare metal and a drivers seat. do all that and you'll probably gain a second on the quarter mile
