yea i work in circuit city roadshop section
and it sucks we dropped Alpine from our lineup
them shits are bad ass, but the pioneer controls the ipod alot better on there high end models not the lower end
and for HD radio its basically regular FM stations sounding like CD quality sound
but you would still need to get a seperate tuner for your Alpine for it to recieve HD stations

Once you go iPod you won't go back. My old 30gb 5G iPod is on permanent car duty- only comes out to sync and I do that in 30 seconds in the car. Sooo many lossless tracks. Between my music library, podcasts, and audio books, I always have media to play without ever having to put in discs. And switching to XM is just two button presses.
Might be trading up to the new W505 in a few months.

My stock stereo/ wire harness is a mess (u probably seen my Krappy Radio System thread). I want to install it myself, but lack experience.
