If not Im sure my friend will be here in town and can probably give you a ride, he lives in elmhouse(around ennis somewhere) ill ask if hes coming to the meet so maybe u can carpool with him.

hey I got a question for you.. Ok I had a new starter put in last week and now my check engine light is on.. Do you think something could really be wrong or they maybe just set it off?? Its driving perfect, or normal atleast. Paint or no paint, also as theres no real problem with my engine I will do my best to be there. I have not check the CEL code yet do to lack of time. Plus like I said does not seem like anything is really wrong.

If you mean Emhouse... that's about 10-15 minutes from where I'm at... what's your friends name, and what does he drive? possible chance I know him.

i have a question, i just got dc sports headers, and was wondering if its ok to install it without the downpipe?
and the exhaust is touching the body and melting it on to the exhaust chrome, will that mess up the chrome from the exhaust?

exhaust by the back bumper? if so man that hangers are on up there too much... was it catback or just welded on muffler? and downpipe waht you mean? the DC header should have either one piece or two pieces and should run down to your exhaust to cat convert to middle pipe and so on....

well i orderd a 2 piece header in which i get the header and the downpipe together, but when it got shipped in i only got the header itself and didnt get a downpipe if you go to this site it will show you 2 pieces http://www.dcsports.com/4to2to12.html

i would call them and get a refund plus the 2nd piece ... =p but that's me or you can just call them and wait for the other piece... i mean i believe the stock header are two pieces but i'm not sure if it'll fit on the DC header so i would just get 2pieces and do it...

Yeah, the stock header is two pieces, but the DCSport header is of a different design than stock and they will not bolt up together... the header is supposed to come as the manifold that bolts on to the engine and the downpipe to the cat and exhaust... if you just got the manifold part, you've been screwed and should be on the phone bitching at where ever you got it from.

Doesn't appear at this point that I'm going to be able to make it to the meet with my car... it appears my fuel pump has died now, and I've found a major problem with my drivers side brake caliper (dangerous to drive kind of problem)... so I've got to replace both items before driving the car. Only problem with that is, I'm rapidly approaching my rebuild budget limits cause I keep finding parts that need replacing.

Advice to anyone doing a major rebuild on their car like I'm doing on mine (especially if it's a 13 year old car)... Whatever you plan on spending add about $2,000 on top of that.

I should be able to make it to the meet (if i can get my car fixed by then Ib am in the process of getting stuff painted to i will have to see). I will probably have one if not more friends with me. prob only Clubcivic going to have 20people or so and that's including families and/or friends and people from 7thegencivics are comming, 2ndgen tegra or something i forget you'll have to ask Migs on this one =p but we think it'll be a big turn out ...and we are going to have one in Late june or July 2004 Joe Pool Lake @ Grand Pairie
