It is illegal to lane split in texas. A friend of mine got a ticket for it.
I'd recommend arlington for several reasons. It's not too crowded. You can get a nice house w/o a ridiculous price. There's a lake closeby. The school district is good. Arlington memorial hospital is great for the expectant, or for kids just being kids. The import scene is pretty good. Several shops close by. It's halfway between fort worth and dallas so you're pretty close to just about everything here. Not to mention, there's Motorsport Ranch about 30 minutes away if you feel like drivin fast.
So, yeah. Arlington. It's all good though.
