alright, its time for an update on the build. yesterday a lady knocked on my door and had a large brown box for me. can you guess whats inside?

something shiny...

oooh, its an Espelir JGT500 catback exhaust from JLBMotorsports.com!

now its time to pull off that old nasty stock exhaust.

i don't actually have any pictures during the installation because i spent most of the time on my back with the car up on jackstands. im still sore today from all of the crawling around. but anyways, on to pictures of the ffinished product!

This exhaust is a little louder than I expected, but it sounds great. I'm thinking about spraying some sound deadening rubber in my trunk area to keep the interior noise levels down. Right now my trunk is gutted and has no carpet or anything.

When installing this exhaust I also used my Cusco exhaust bushings. They were a LOT stiffer than the stock pieces and felt like they would hold the muffler and piping in place a lot better.

definitely! lol. my headlights are really nasty on the outside. they've got that yellowing scummy look. i've tried cleaning them, but i've given up all hope for them. i want to replace them with SiR headlights. they'll go right with the SiR lip and the SiR bumpers i want to get eventually.

thanks man. going to school and paying all the bills associated with it makes it hard to find time and/or money for the car, but i love working on my car so i try my hardest to make it happen.

AND MORE pictures from the other day. it was nice out for a little while and i managed to wash the coupe and dress the tires. getting a good lump of money back from taxes and just need a little bit more before i can order my wheels :D

and the new decals for the coupe:

enjoy!

eh, my SOHC still has some life in it. i still want to get wheels, CF hood, SiR bumpers, SiR headlights, more Cusco parts, etc. before i do anything more with the engine. i'll probably run this D-series into the ground and then swap it out for something, or possibly change it over to a 5-speed and go Greddy turbo or something, idk.

thanks for the compliments though. :D

my SiR lip from Heeltoe arrived yesterday! i couldn't wait to install it so it went on about an hour after the postman dropped it off. i spent about $7 at the hardware store buying nuts/bolts/washers to mount it with, but other than that, it was a cinch to install. all of the mounting holes were already there. all i had to do was set the lip on the bumper and start putting the 10 bolts through the different mounting points.

here are a couple shots of my coupe with the lip. i couldn't get too creative because the sun was going down. i'll get better pics another day.

enjoy and leave comments! :D
