I didnt get bf3 for fact of most of my friends are waiting on new mw3. I'm interested in the more team like features.

I'm not getting MW3, It seems like the same game again. Maybe I have just played CoD for to long now. BF3 is quite fun though. EA needs to add new Hardcore servers, Normal frustrates me.

Yea, MW3 might end up getting more team features, but I think it's going to have a tough time competing with the team aspects of rush in bf3.

Osiris - I have games where I'm 20 and 2... and I have games where I'm 2 and 20... lol. Depending on how tired I am / how focused I am, my aim seems to become more or less steady, and I either run around like an idiot, or take my time - making me suck or be awesome... lol.

That's happened to me before. It's really just a combination of how you're playing vs. how others are playing. I've had days where I would SWEAR other people are cheating with auto aim and crap, because I'd get the jump on them, and end up getting killed myself.

Side note, I've been doing pretty well with saving this past paycheck. I think I just might have to pick up BF3 tonight. I'm about to run out right now and get it

Do it Vic. You wont regret it. One thing that's really irritating me on rush maps, is friggen morters. People sit back in the spanw where you can't get them and spam the morter.

Definitely get it, Vic.

Mortars can be a slight annoyance for me.... but I can't say they've ever seriously hampered my game play. They might get me once, but once I see where they're mortaring, I can generally avoid the area... or plant quick and get out in time.

I continued to kick butt tonight. As long as I take it nice and slow, I tend to do well. Sniping is so nice with the bipod now too. There's no scope drift at all when lying down with the bipod deployed which is a huge help. I think I've had the bipod for a while too, I just never put it on for some reason (dumb move). Man, I love this game.

I picked it up. I started playing the campaign, and I must say....I'm not terribly impressed. I hope the campaign gets better, and multiplayer is amazing.

I can't speak much for the campaign. I've only played the first two levels and it seems like the same generic campaign that all fps's have. Multiplayer Rush is where it's at. Conquest is good some times too. Also to note: multiplayer is much more fun when playing with people you know (in order to get the full effect of the strategy/teamwork in this game). The campain does get better, or at least I really liked it. I thought it was better than the Bad Co. 2's single player, I never did like the goofy humor is in that game. I thought the BF3 SP got better towards the end. Mortars never bug me, what bugs me is people laying in the corner with and LMG and a tac light. Anyone else really like the Jets? Any map with them that's where I'm at the whole game. Also what Joe said is very true, to really enjoy this game you need a solid squad, unless of course TDM is your thing.

On top of that, I'm extremely disgusted in how they're trying to get you to sign up and pay for a bunch of sh*t that every other game comes with for free. Signing up for an EA account, then registering on the "gun club" just for a pistol? Yea, no thanks to a bunch of email regarding stuff I don't care about. Entering an "activation code" just to access online play? That's a huge load of sh*t. I'd like to bring this game back simply based on principle.

You don't have to sign up for an EA account and you don't have to join the gun club.. they're entirely optional. To be honest though

The activation code is a new thing that online games are doing to prevent piracy. It's the same thing that microsoft has been doing with software for years.

They're really not doing anything weird or new....

Tried multiplayer. The first match, I did ehh. 5-9. I'll take it for my first match. Second match, I didn't even see one person on foot, and couldn't get any kills. I'm still COMPLETELY lost with how it works. I hope I get it sooner or later.

Victor - This game is very different from CoD. It's going to take you a bit to get the hang of it. What game mode did you play? If it was rush, don't worry about your K/D so much. It's more about working with your team to get the bombs armed (unless you're on D... then just kill s**t.) Conquest is more K/D focused, but flags are more important (If your team owns the majority of the flags your enemy "bleeds lives" over time). Deathmatch is... Deathmatch. Nothing but K/D. IMO, the worst game mode. You might as well be playing CoD.

I should be on a decent amount today / tomorrow, so I'll try to get in some games with you.
