UPS doesnt deliver on saturdays unless you specify saturday delivery...

so latest should be monday....

for some reason... the 5th.. is on tuesday... so 5 day delivery cycle..

i borrowed "Kingdom Under Fire: Circle of Doom" from a friend and its super boring and dull. not much story at all just kinda kill lots of things then repeat. and not kill lots of things fun like dynasty warriors this is really dull stuff

Why not get someone to reflow the Motherboard and sregthen the soldering that is probablycausing your red ring of death. It would prob run you 50$. Better then buying a new box or ghetto rigging it with the towel trick.

You just need to be smart. Lay your box on it's side there are huge vents on the top and bottom that you don't want to block. Make sure it's not crammed in a tight cubby. put it on a book or some kind of flat object that will allow 360 degrees of air to circulate around the box. Don't play for 9 hours every other day. Separate the box from the power brick as they both put off heat. If you follow these rules you should be fine imo. Don't buy aftermarket fans as those are no good for the box. Those can actually cause more problems then they solve.

The likelihood of the new chipset rrod is slight. Once they figured out what was casuing the rrod they fixed it in the newer consoles.

MS says they need a receipt, I'd assume they can tell when I 1st signed on so I dunno why they need a receipt....

Should I be honest and give them my 9-3-06 receipt and hope they make an exception or acquire one from work saying 2-2007? Decisions decisions...

Don't do the towel trick. Yes, it works briefly for most people, but you run the risk of killing your system for good.

Go on craigslist. There are usually plenty of locals who will fix your RROD problems for very very cheap (I got mine fixed, and fan upgraded for $25 while I waited.. took less than an hour.)
