^ then why
I made a sincere and very legal commitment to my husband. We've been through all the the possible things that can break a marriage and we still have survived in it together. I'm still waiting for a house fire to happen though... :scurred:

I dont get why people that are freshly divorced go out looking for another partner immediately. It happens all the time.

What's the point of sticking it out if you're miserable? Do you sincerely think he's going to change?
I'm old-fashioned as well (not for religious reasons, either. I'm atheist haha.), and would prefer to not get divorced, obviously, but I would never stay together simply for the sake of staying together..

Lulz I'm going to Vegas tomorrow and not telling her. This should go well!
Just tell her. If she flips, she's worthy of being dropped like third period French.

Seriously. That's why I'd be nervous to get married.
Just be sure you're marrying the right person! A lot of my friends get married on a whim. I can't do that. I have to REALLY know the girl, inside and out, to even consider marriage.

Dude... Why can't you tell her?
If you dont get married at like 22 years old, you'll have a better chance of staying together. I say you should be with someone for like 2+ years, and not have too many serious issues. Lol. What do I know

Age is subjective to maturity (for both people involved). I have a friend that married his wife when he was 19. He's 27, she's 26. They are still madly in love, and happier than ever. It works, if you really have that connection, and really love the person.

True, but most of the time, early age marriages fail the most.

Exactly my point.

My parents dated for four months and got married at 22. And got my mom knocked up with me when she was 21 and four months into dating. They're still married to this day and are still madly in love with eachother. My dad GUSHES about my mom still to this day. He sat with my boyfriend and told him the whole story, which is super cute. I never get bored of hearing it. And I'm a lot like my mom, I don't show my affection as much but she loves my dad. I do believe there can be exceptions.

My parents got married in '89 I think and they're still together. My mom said before that divorces are too expensive and too much work with dividing up days to see us. I think she was just joking, but my dad does little things for my mom every once in awhile.
