yea man it is sick, fast... fast as fawk, i was gonna put a k20 in my civic( picture below), but when i rode in my friends k20a swapped civ, it just didnt pull like i thought it would, and i would get a b, but i have already been down that route, and it jsut isnt worth it to me. the sti is plenty fast, 800cc injectors, walbro 255 lph pump, oh yea im payin a lot in gas prices.

^ the civic aka the daily
I rode in one and lets just say there was no first or second gear on street tires, the thing eats evos and stis.

It's not all that hard to "eat up" stock to mildly modded evo's/Sti's. A stock bottom, lightly built top y8 with a little boost can do it with little probs. On the other hand fast straight line cars such as T/A's, Stangs, Vette's, and Supras are where true brawn gets tested. I'm not knocking STI's cause i wish i could own/afford one but they're intended for the twisties. Get any of those domestics on some canyon roads and it would no longer be a competition. Srry for the rant, but i hate when STI's and EVO's get too much cred.

Sick car and you're a lucky bastard! =)

is it true that the stock tranny's on the wrx's arn't that good...my buddy just got one and he doesn't bring it past 4K in 1st or 2nd so he's not really showing me what it can do..

The early tranny's had some issues when abused. The STi has no such problem though.

Sick car man. I for one prefer it without the wing. Now you need a front mount and a smooth hood with a debadge.

Some people would realize what it is, a lot wouldn't.

a.) the wing is back on (i have two trunks)
b.) the mudflaps are there to keep tire shine off my car, and to keep mud and s**t off of there when i got 4wheelin.

I had a Legacy Sport wagon back in the day ( factory turbo) and that thing sounded mean. Always loved the Suby sound.

My Outback is too quiet to really get the same effect, but it's my utility rig so no need for a bigger exhaust. I have the DC5 for that lol.

You aren't 4wheelin in 2inches of mud :D I live in VA, I'll take you real 4wheelin

Nice car though I drove a blue sti and was def. liking it plus I like 4doors. Also drove an evo. Can't really decide which I like more though.

yea man the four doors is def a good thing, and personally i like sti's jsut cause i am an enthusiast and taht is the crowd i am involved wiht, but i do respect evo's the have an imense amount of potential, and are a good platform to work from, better than the sti's in a lot of senses, but i like mine a lot, so my politically correct answer would be STI ALL DAY, FAWK EVO'S

our motto

HEAR NO EVO
SEE NO EVO
FEAR NO EVO!

lol ;p
