actually its funny u brought this idea up cause in the nov. or dec. issue of 5.0 they put this idea into affect...it show it on the car they just took off the stock air filter n some how ghetto rigged it up n im not saying it works but it says in the mag. its eqivalent to like 12 lbs of boost.
yea i couldn't really believe it at first but when i saw the picks of it and read the article i was pretty convinced it works.
consider this. turbos spin at 120,000 rpms to create boost. can your leaf blower do that?
yeah, it is more around 150,000, but that where most turbos work most efficiently, i just stated the minimum where they start to make boost
because him and vtechthis were both doing nothing but post whoring bullshit and misinformation, and doing it on purpose. i have no tolerance for that.

If this were an honest thread, I can see the logic in his idea... Leaf blower moves air, turbo moves air... This particular thread isn't what got him banned though. I personally encourage people to think outside the norm and come up with their own solutions. Sometimes the quality of an idea matters less than the fact that someone's trying.

maybe on your noob planet they use leaf blowers as turbos but here on earth that wont work....
