can't go wrong with OE. I might be in the market for a new steering wheel and quick release hub with a lock. It's about time I start doing security modifications before candy becomes a thief magnet.

Word...it would be a good investment!
Hell, here where Im at you can have locks, wheel off, kill switches, and everything if they want it, they'll tow it, lol sad but true! Your best security would be to get a garage!

I had an Evo VII back when I was 19 (05). I bought it used with 19,000 OG miles on it, one previous owner (car was about a year old), an HKS BOV, aftermarket charge piping, 3' Downpipe w/ flexflange, 3' HKS Exhaust, Typhoon intake kit, and an AEM piggyback. It was definitely fast, and a lot of fun. The previous owner's fiance made him sell it, and the lot didn't know how to market the car (they catered to businesses/older folks. Lots of Taurus' and Cadillacs), so it sat for a while. Ended up getting it for 24k out the door!

I LOVED it. They're great cars, but yeah, a tad pricey, and they hold their value. Wish I could have kept it (mix up with insurance on the dealership's end cost me a difference of $500/mo haha. Had to give it back to the dealership....)

Well not to much going on with the car. My fiancé came back yesterday and today she moves into college so it's a joy that's short lived but well worth it. Updates should start rolling in hopefully in a few weeks. I'm looking for a part time job so I can get the ball rolling on my suspension. So far my list is Function & Form Type one coilovers, Function 7 lower control arms, ASR Polished subframe brace, candy red beaks bar, I'm thinking of getting a rear sway bar and camber linkages but idk I'm still thinking if I really need them. I also would like to start replacing things on the front end suspension but I think that will wait till I get another DD. My goal is to get all these thing purchase over the winter and install them towards early spring. I'm really going to try hard to eliminate extra expenses and save as much as I can. I need to get back in my money stacking mind set. But that's all for now.

I hear so much about that combo but isn't a full coilover a better set up?

full bodied coilovers are just the same as a spring and shock combo. Build quality, springs rates, and dampening force are the only differences. You could get a Koni/gc setup with the same specs as function and form. If you know exactly what you want koni/gc is a good budget choice compared to PIC select or AMR and the like. Function and form use a general street use spec sheet. So it's not bad, it's not dialed in perfect either.

as far as quality, i've seen everything fail so to me it's a gamble either route. And a warranty doesn't impress me...I don't see people buy Hondas because of a great warranty lol but there's always that possibility that you may need it.

It's just where I live it's not flat at all. A lot of hills and I don't want to be bottoming out. I know you can get extended top hats but I hate how they look in the engine bay. But when the time comes for me to buy I'll look more into the two and how they compare.

Ok small update I got around to polishing my headlights I'm very happy with the results.

Before

After

I also finally picked up some valve stem seals

I still need to get a new water pump, time belt and head gasket. So once I collect all of those I'll throw them all in.

Bad ass! good job on the headlights :thumbs up
Thanks. I started with 500 grit then went up 800,1000,3000. Then I use majestic polish and a buff wheel to really get the polish worked into the lens. If u need to do this please do it. My light output is a lot better which is a lot safer
