I like your bushing install tool. mine was similar, but instead of the cool looking plastic, it was a couple of scrap wood pieces

when I installed mine, it seemed once you get the entire front edge into the bore, you can pretty much push it in the rest of the way by hand. good progress!

Yea I did one by hand the other with the tool I made. The front edge is the key to getting it in.

Can't wait to lower her. It's still pretty cold here so hopefully I get some warm weekend weather soon. That's pretty much the only thing holding me up.

Muteki SR48 lug nuts with locks ordered

K-Tuned Battery Tie Down ordered :rocker:

So I'm going to put my parts on this weekend. I'm going to get the front end done first(EM1 spindles,SS lines, tie rods and coils) then work on the rear once the front is done.

I'm going to be attending my first scca event. So I really have to get this car ready. It's the 22nd. It's a rookie class event with a instructor. I'm pretty excited about it.

Finally got around to lowering the car. Unfortunately I couldn't install the rear disk brakes due to the brake hard lines being to rusty where I need to disconnect them. I didn't have anything to fix it if I broke it trying to loosen the nut so I left it alone. I did install the front spindles though. I had the same issue with front passenger line so I only installed one SS line out of four. I also had a few seized bolts in the rear which made things take a lot longer.

The garage where it all happen.

After I removed the shock and lower control arm. I can't wait to get rid of those old drums.

Had quite a few of these. Wouldn't be a Honda from the NE if I didn't.

Coilover and lower control arms installed.

Here you can see the front coilover with the Russell line next to it.

First time dropping the car on all fours. The car was raised shortly after. It was to low and the fender was resting on the tire.

After raising it

I shot under the car if anyone wanted to know what it looks like.

How it sits as of now.

It rubs a little when I turn the wheel all the way. I am actually going to raise the front some more since I'm going to be auto-crossing the car in a week or two. I plan to raise it a 0.5"-.75" I want a small finger gap to allow for more shock travel with out it rubbing.
It feels so weird being in a lowered car again but I did miss the responsiveness in the steering and how stiffer the car feels.

Made some small adjustments. Raise it about a inch in the front for more clearance. I gotta get some exact measurements from the jack points. I want to be at least 5" or more. So far I'm loving how the cars handling and the Nitto's are doing a great job. I haven't pushed the tires to there limits (don't plan too) but I did do a few laps on some back roads.

I like them. They are on the stiffer side for a street coilover but there are definitely stiffer street coilovers then these but most of them come with damper adjustments so that helps the ride comfort. But I can care less about the ride it's not harsh just a little bumpy but I love how solid the car feels makes me confident that the car can perform more aggressive.

what do you think the final stance will be? (ie how much do you think the final drop will end up being?)

Honestly I don't know. As of now it's going to stay where I have it. The only thing that would make me change it is a different wheel setup. Or pointer I get from after the rookie autocross event.
