This is a very good explanation of why i never come to this site anymore..All you guys to is make fun of people and their cars! grow the hell up and get some balls to do somthing BIG to your own cars

I've never noticed that you never come onto the site anymore. I notice you don't post as much as you used to (now that I think of it), but otherwise, you're still here. And there are some cars on here with some major modifications. Alot of the ones that come to mind I won't mention though simply because I know those owners don't advertise that their cars are anything more than stock or lightly modified. We have lots of swapped cars on here, cars with turbos, cars with aftermarket paintjobs in colors that are clearly not factory. Those all are fairly big changes to me.

As for the original poster, even if I posted a pristine E55 AMG... if it was sitting in that parking spot instead of your Civic and I took a photo of it from the same view point, I would expect to get some similar responces about= the crappy photos and the doubt that it was even my car.

That car still looks like it needs some work to clean things up. That is even if you keep the conversion. First, do somethign about the "custom" fabrication on your CD player... that looks more than tacky. Bumpers that show your bumper supports blow btw. And personally, if I were trying to be different with my Civic but still liked the idea of the RSX headlights, I'd try to get a different front bumper, just to switch things up a bit. Oh yeah, sideskirts would do wonders too.

Oh, and I'm not trying to be a complete ass about this. I just think this car still needs some work to come together.

Oh alright. That's RSXcivicChick's I've seen that. Thats the whole reasong why I went with this setup. I hope Mine turns out just as good in a few months.

Exactly I dont come here anymore and the only reason why I do is to try and sell my car!! And you dont need to explain yourself or others and their modifications it was a smart remark to make a point. If everyone is just gonna talk s**t on here to him Im sure he will stop coming eventually like I am!

its very simple... when you post your car.. and ask for opinions be prepared for the good and bad...

when you glue your head unit in with liquid nails
when you have a turbo timer for your N/A y7
when you have one windshield wiper sticking in the middle of the windshield
when your headlights are held to the car with zip ties

when you ask my opinion, and your car is in that condition.. im going to give it to you... theres no reason to be rude or disrespectfull, BUT there is also no reason to sugar coat things.. to me.. it appears that you cut every single corner you could.. i understand wanting custom.. i understand wanting something different... but the word "custom" does not apply to what you have created... take your time... do things with the highest level of quality you can, but then again everyone has different standards maybe for you this IS quality.... for me its not.. and thats my ONLY problem with it...

i wont tell you that your car has to be modded with jdm parts, im not telling you it has to look like mine, im not even sayign i hate show cars... but the one and only thing that IS important.. is quality.. and with your project.. i see a HUGE lack of that..

primer is a step in getting your car painted in most cases.. when i get my body work done... and get the car painted it will have primer on it for as long as it sits AT the shop waiting to be painted... I wont be driving it like that, and I sure as hell wont take pictures of the primer and "show it off" on the Internet.. i will however shoot the finished product...

thats the difference..
