Just as a note, a 7 lb flywheel is a PITA to daily drive. A 12 lb streetlite is a good compromise though.

have you ever driven a car with a 7lb flywheel?

Yes I have as a matter of fact. A porsche setup for auto-x with a super light flywheel in it.

just wondering because my 7lb is almost like stock, just revs faster

I found it be a bit of a pain driving. It definitely revs fast, the problem I had was that it drops super fast too so you have to play with the throttle more to shift smoothly. I dunno, I guess it just takes some getting used to.. just my 2 cents.
