TPMS Warning on dash

Hi all,

Just bought a 2016 Civic EX-T. Just bought snow tires and did not put the sensors in. I am getting a huge warning on the dash. Is there a way to minimize this? It basically is in the center of the dash and I don't want to drive around with this all winter.

I believe the 2016 has indirect TPMS, so there are no sensors inside the tires.

You should be able to re-calibrate the TPMS from within the car. You'll probably need to do this every time you switch between the winter and summer wheels, though. But it shouldn't take much effort:

Thanks, will give it a try tonight.

My Mini Cooper S had indirect TPMS so it should not be an issue for me to redo this. I thought they had in wheel sensors.

They did, but I believe they switched to indirect TPMS starting with 2014 Civics.
