I believe you can use 10w30 motor oil, but no matter what i'd stay with Hmtf.One quick question if I can't find honda mtf what other one could I use like synchromesh?/

The original manual that came with my 93 ej1 says in it to use hmtf or 10w30..Either way i'd only use hmtf.Only temporarily
