Thanks J..
a lot of us on thi ssite are swapping or have swapped b's..and im sure eventually all of us will go turbo and thi swill be a good thread to refer to with any questions u might have..as they will probably b asked and answered here...

ho w much boost do i plan to run will depend on how much my motor will be able to take at the time..
i.e. if i just throw the kit on i probably wont run any more than 10 lbs..i'm def. gonna get it all professionally tuned...so i'll see about that when it happens...also how much boost is gonna depend onthe turbo i put in..which i haven;t decided on yet...

well lets see, this thread is called turbo b series, i have a magnificent idea, why not make a thread entitled "turbo d series" and ask these questions?
there's another thread on turbo D made by Eran...although it says his project..hence the LOL on my thread...
and there r tons of info on turbo d's on that thread...;)

socket a p06 or p28, p72's are a pita to work with. but if you really want, i have a great condition rare virgin obd1 p72 i'll sell ya lol. the biggest things you can do before boost is your tranny. a GOOD clutch that has a torque rating thats higher than the peak torque you think you'll ever make is a NECESSITY. if your going to be building your block, an lsd is a NECESSITY. i reccomend a quaife lsd, and a clutchmasters stage 3 kevlar/carbon clutch disc. honestly for a street car, building the block is a waste of time and money. b18c's are rediculous motors, and are strong enough (when properly tuned and without detonation) to stand about as much hp as you can legitimately make on pump gas. unless your going to be running race gas constantly, you'll never really need to have a built bottom end. that and much more than 250 whp on street tires (again, unless you run slicks all the time) is an effort in futility, you'll be spinning your wheels well into 3rd gear.
i might turbo the motor without throwint in the low compression rod pistons and all that just to see what the performance is like without them..and eventually i will def throw in all the low comp goodies and go from there..

and i have lsd now btw..i got it mainly because and now i see why...u said that its probably one of the best mods u can get for ur car...

how much do u want for the ecu? :P
i'm leaning toward keeping the p72 because my secondary runners wont operate with other ecu's..as far as i know..also i;ve heard something about wiring the IAB differently for the usdm ecu??
i have one wire from the IAB going to the ground and the other to the ecu...

170 shipped for the ecu. the going rate on honda-tech is around 200 bucks for em, as they are REALLY hard to find.
