I have seen alot of posts of ppl making 300whp on stock b16's I'm looking to make 250whp with mine and I'll be happy for now.

i dunno if u live in denial but a stock ls will never get to 300whp
ive seen many stock b16s with sc61s make 300whp all day long
Your wrong. We have a stock ls bottom end in a CRX pushing over 300hp. I say the block is stock ... its has a block guard.

hey spoony ... watch ur mooves. A friend of mine running 7 psi with a turbonetics T3/T4 hybrid on the b16, on stock internals dammaged 2 pistons and consequently 2 sleevs. So i'd say it wont last... just as they told you.

Hey EC8 just cause your boys s**t blew up don't mean every B16 is gonna do the same if that's what your trying to say. Also depends on the health of the motor, do a compression test and see what you get, if you get good compression boost it if not rebuild it first then boost it. Don't listen to everybody saying do this and don't do this. 91Spoon your motor is not gonna last forever whether you turbo it or leave it all motor. Do what you think is best.

Hey bubble ur argument sucks. It wont last forever he knows it as much as you do. And yes, b16 dont last long on stock internals especially when going 12 psi. The civic i mentioned was a rebuild master peice but he was told by half the people like you, that up to 10-15 psi it should hold, thus he changed head and rods. Guess what genius, 2 pistons failled. On 7 psi, not on 15 or 20. So yes, on stock internals the b16 does not handle as much as the d's. The are always exeption's, but he cannot bet his money on the exeptions.

And I'll say it again EC8 friends motor didn't last and there has been alot of ppl with turbo b16's doing fine. It's ur motor do what you want IMO it's all about the health of the motor and how you tune it. Oh and EC8 I'm not having an argument just letting 91Spoon know what the pro/cons are so shut the f**k up b***h.
