I'm doing some research on this turbo D16z6 build i'm trying to finish out this month and have a question on the head gasket. Doing a google search, I see a lot of back and forth on which gasket is the best to use based on the power goals you're shooting for. My set up will be a stock long block with ARP head studs trying to run around 10psi. Does anyone have any solid knowledge on a cometic head gasket vs. any other brand? I see some comments from people around the web saying either gasket works/fails just like any other depending on the quality of install. I have torque specs and am confident i'll get that right so my question is....
Is a Cometic HG worth paying for given my build scenario and assuming build variables are in spec? Is anyone out there running similar or higher boost on anything other than cometic? As mentioned, there are plenty of examples of either failing or lasting for xxxx amount of time so ruling out the exceptions to the rule, what is the general consensus on HG for low/mild boost applications?
EDIT: Never mind.. I ended up pulling the trigger on a head up kit by Fel-pro after doing mucho research...o

Working 12-16 hr days rewiring a helicopter. Was hoping i could do it this weekend but i think im flying out to an island some place in the AM to fix another Helo having problems.
