Turbo Kit Choice?

Hey, I live in Australia and I'm thinking of buying a turbo kit sometime in the next year or so, or making a custom setup with my dad. I am looking for something that will give good power figures, and is able to be upgraded easily. Also must be reliable and known to give good results.

I have a 1992 EG4 with an EG9 JDM B16A in it, I would lke to keep my aircon if possible because when it rains I won't be able to demist the front window..

Can you please give me some suggestions of some good, affordable kits or advice that can help me. And also what do you think of this kit??

Thanks mate, I have had a read on a few forums about it. But I'm mainly interested in how hard it would be to put together a custom kit, like availability of parts, and any fabrication of the pipes.

But I'll have a harder look around.

www.full-race.com

Very very good turbos. Look at prices and also customer cars, very easy to reach over 300 with this setup.

Thanks for that site, some very nice kits on their :D
What's the deal with aftermarket computers.. I notice that they don't ofer them with that kit, but nthe GReddy kit gives you the E-Manage.
Is it just so that you can choose your own instead of taking what they give you?
And what do you recommend for a good computer? Not too expensive..

Yeh I have heard very good things about Hondata, so they will be the ones to go with.
Can anyone here get a better deal with any kits? Or know of anyone that would?

Cheers, Matt.

I would rather buy from Brisbane or somewhere in Aus, but I haven't found anywhere that is selling what I'm looking for.
Know of any places?

lol i wish i did, keep in mind i dont even have my licence yet so i haven't really had the chance to drive around looking for one but from what i have seen/or haven't seen we "australians" have very little in the way of mod parts and what we do hve is overpriced because there is no competition......

the datalogging is only good if YOU yourself are gonna be tuning in your garage or in-car. But, tuners will tell you that s200 is easier to use and actually cheaper in the long run.

I had a talk to James(BLKCRX) from the OzHonda forums in Melbourne and he said that a S200 will set me back around $800 AUD plus dyno and tuning etc. I think I am going to save up and get a Hondata unit, then save ALOT and get a good turbo setup for around 7-10k depending on how I go saving.

I wanna do it right the first time ;)

^^ no f**kin way... what the f**k is it?
That is how i reacted i was like f**k that. He swore it, but we were drunk and i didnt ask any details i was just inshock. I did ask about the k-series though they put it on a k24 i think and it put down 630whp stock bottom end with a shitty tune. They also now have some guy who is going to start his own EMS and they swear it will put hondata out of buisness. And a couple new race cars, i think one is jeffs and i dont know about the ohter one. Pretty cool s**t though.
