hes just trying to help out.. if it was totally off topic that would be one thing.. but i think its ok, just to be sure... one of the other staff members has already made a thread about it.. i dont THINK its against the rules per say.. but i mean i DO understand what you are saying.. i think for now wie will leave it up but if jay jay sees an issue with it hell let us know...one thing i would like to say is for the most part this should not become a for sale thread.. the sponsor showed the product he offers and if you (the thread starter) are interested in purchasing it.. please take that discussion to PM.. this is the tech section and i think it should be devoted to tech discussion.. i do however have no issues with disucssing the pros and cons of the system being offered.. but when it comes to the details of the purchase take it to PM..

if you guys want me to be more tech thats fine. i just need to see more tech questions up on here. im more then willing to help individuals on this message board figure out whats needed for their turbo kits or to set them up.

Personally i've seen way too many HMT kits break apart or they cheap out on crucial items and blow their mtor. ive been there and done that. thus i started building kits and over the past 3 years selling on honda-tech i've learned a lot about what works what deosnt and i've had my fairshair of trying out cheap parts only to find that they did not work as described or were faulty beyond belief.

in the future i will keep it tech. and teach a lil more about FI knowledge around these boards.

i think maybe you misunderstood.. im saying i have no issue at all with displaying and talking about the setup you offer the facts about it.. the amount of power style of turbo ect, even letting them know that you offer the kit and even telling them you give a good deal for CC members.. because that is all genuine info that the member should have when buyign a turbo kit.. even giving the price no issue at all.. because ive told members go see "joe smith racing" they sell them for $xxxx.xx and they are good guys... that info ways into the choice they make just like your info does.. but when it comes down to the actual sale of it.. keep it to PM.. the actual... "ok where am i shipping this" or the "well can i get it for this much without "XXXXXX" part" etc... i think that i was just a lot more clear on what im trying to convey...

Its all good man.. you are right there are very few technical questions in here, but when they do get asked they are either answered or people are sent to turbod16.com

The #1 reason why people blow their motors is trying to squeeze more power than the tune allows for.
#2 is bad fuel setup
#3 is other bad parts

I would like to turbocharge my 98 civic ex. I would like to know what kits are good for my car and how much boost I can run on a stock engine. Also I was wondering how much it would cost me to get a turbo kit installed.

I say 8lbs is good and I got my s**t installed for cheap but my boy installed it for me. I say a fair price would be like around $500 but then you have to get it tuned and tuned right
