my friend got a greddy kit for his 2000 SI

264 hp at the wheels, with no problems whatsoever...just make sure you do it right and dont cut corners

ummm, i can try and call him and have him give me a copy of his dyno sheet if you want, but im telling you i saw it, and he had 264 to the wheels, and he did have other mods, i never said he didnt....so next time you decide to doubt, go about it in a better way, other than acting ignorant....it will help you to sound like less of an ass

I like the way I put my sig as is..thanks. But yeah turbo is alright but I prefer N/A than cheating it out by turbo's..not saying turbo isn't "cool" but it's expensive if not done right like others say it's trouble let alone you gotta maintain and make sure you did and are doing everything correctly..

it all depends on how much money you have to spend. turbo is faster for the $$ then N/A. a nice safe turbo setup will run you to about $4000-5000. if you go turbo, how many miles do you put on your car? do you think you will keep the car for a long time? in the long run, turbo can wear and damage your motor depending on driving and maintenance.

what the f**k did you just say?? turbo is cheating?? a good fast na setup will cost WAY more than anything turbo. turbo is not cheating, i dont see your reasoning, that just makes you sound dumb. yeah, you gotta maintain it.....you gotta maintain anything...so youre saying if you go na you wont need to maintain it? riiiiight

okay this isn't a question at all..... turbo is unreliable i don't want to hear if you do it right it is reliable because it isn't.... go all motor stroke it with the crv and that will give you 190 hp and 150 lbs of torque get cams and all that mess and you'll beat any shitty unreliable turbo

well i have about $3000, plus or minus $250. and yes reliability is a top concern. id also like to get into the 13s on the stock block and head. oh yea, i have an act clutch with 10.5 lbs rims wrapped in azenis, aem cai, dcsports jdm 4-1, high flow cat, apexi n1. thats about it...can i do a turbo set up "right" for about that price? oh yea, i am planning to get the greddy turbo kit if i do get turbo.

go N/A its more realiable in the long run. my N/a will take off on a turbo while they are lagging cause of turbo lag.

Upgrade your suspension and brakes with that money because youre going to have to upgrade them at some point with either route.

Id rather stop quick than go quick -- advice from living through a 75mph accident which totalled my car.

Then go turbo. Custom turbo to be exact. And read up. Don't listen to everyone else's OPINION on which is better, find out yourself.

Its like asking whats heavier: a ton of bricks or a ton of feathers?

They both have potential but you need to find out what the right balance is for you. And also drive a turbo and a NA build and see which is right for you.

Good luck.
