if ur looking for the most power, with the most reliable and the fewest dollars spent, then its gonna be turbo all the way, check my sig, i ran a drag gen 3 kit on a b18c1 made 359whp and had no problems for the year i drove it EVERYDAY. i did do internal work (im finding all my pics of it, will list all mods and pics later) but hondata tuned it made 359whp at secret services dyno in tampa fl, ill find the dyno sheet for all u doubters if u must know, also a good friend of mine (who eventually bought my turbo b18c1) had the 00 si with the greddy kit john aka blue hatch was talking about, he bought the car from me, added the greddy kit (18g turbo with the larger intercooler) ran 440 injectors and hondata tuned it at the same shop 264whp with a/c and power steering, he used that car as a daily driver until he bought my b18c and put it in, selling his b16 turbo wich is still running perfectly to this day in a 4 door civic, all motor is sweet, and that will be my next project, because ive never built one before, but power for dollar for reliablilty, turbo is DEF the way to go, boost 8psi on a stock motor and tune it correctly TUNING IS EVERYTHING and maintain the motor you will run as long as a stock motor will run IMO and i have done it before, not just my opinion from reading posts all my teenage years

This is not true at all! As many people have said while asking the same question "any mod that you perform will damage your engine to a certain extent". The fact that people hear about turbos being unreliable is also i myth. Most people that have trouble with a turbo setup are usually either running too much boost on stock internals or havent takin the time to get some good tunning done. The fact that your telling this person to swap the crv crank saying it will be more reliable than a turbo setup is proving that you dont know much about honda engines.

the people who are saying that all turbos are unreliable and N/A is deserve to be shot in the head... show some actual proof instead of just opening your mouths like f**king idiots. A well tuned turbo setup can be very very reliable plus it is much much cheaper than N/A....

show some hard proof you dumbass noobies before you start shooting off your mouth

Get a turbo and tune the motor with the turbo and dont go buck wild with the boost and it will be reliable... key here is to TUNE!

And ill laugh when your 13:1 compression pistons slap your valves because of your aggresive cams.
