This is not true at all! As many people have said while asking the same question "any mod that you perform will damage your engine to a certain extent". The fact that people hear about turbos being unreliable is also i myth. Most people that have trouble with a turbo setup are usually either running too much boost on stock internals or havent takin the time to get some good tunning done. The fact that your telling this person to swap the crv crank saying it will be more reliable than a turbo setup is proving that you dont know much about honda engines.Originally posted by edhgreatone
okay this isn't a question at all..... turbo is unreliable i don't want to hear if you do it right it is reliable because it isn't.... go all motor stroke it with the crv and that will give you 190 hp and 150 lbs of torque get cams and all that mess and you'll beat any shitty unreliable turbo
very well put, either way you go make sure you research and don't take any short cuts.Originally posted by prophet
it's really up to you.. both can be fast and safe if done properly
And ill laugh when your 13:1 compression pistons slap your valves because of your aggresive cams.Originally posted by edhgreatone
cheaper = unreliable
i will laugh when you engine blows up and i say i told you so
