#1 get a new tranny, there is no fun in a turbo or a supercharger on an AT...i would motor swap w/ a 5-speed...or a k20...cmon now, ur addin to the rice pile... and if u get a Manual get a turbo its just more fun to pull on sum 1 @ the last second haha

The auto will die if you turbo it. You either need to swap to manual, or get in touch with Level Ten

As for the turbo/sc question, the short answer is go turbo. If you want the long answer, search.

what about the guy with the black EM2 boosted @ 10 psi on an automatic tranny. he used to post on here, I haven't seen him in awhile. I thinks its more than worth it to boost....as long as you build smart with your turbo set-up, you'll be fine.

there should be a page that pops up when people register that has some guidlines on what is expected of you when you join....it should outline what kind of things are not tolerated and info such as engine swaps and turbos, u know questions like this should be searched on first....i think that would be a good idea cuz some people dont think about that when they first start going on forums

For the 2001 and up, I dont think that there is a supercharger for it.(I can be wrong so dont flame me) I say go tubro, it hve been done. People fell bad when they are beat by a tubro car, and when they find out that it is auto, they just lost to an auto.

dude...why would you want to turbo or supercharge an AT tranny? you feel no torque no turbo kicking. manuals makes it sounds nice better with that. i suggest you buy a new car with that money. aint worth it.

UR dumb! On average, the big time dragsters are automatic trannies and they use powershifting.
KNOWLEDGE OWNZ U! ;)
an AT tranny turbocharged can be pretty deadly on the streets, you just need to build with other nessecities in mind.

Super control on launches, no missed shifts, and very little power loss. Of course its no fun in the twisties!

Most people can't afford a built auto tranny, so for most people, it's better to have a manual. I agree that an auto can be much better, but not for a kid on a budget.
One thing you guys didn't mention about autos is that you don't lose boost when you shift.

very little power loss, actually, u get about 5% more power loss through the drivetrain with an automatic car then with a manual....and thats with a good AT, honda AT's prolly loose a lot more power throu the drivetrain.
manual > auto

manual > auto
BUT, the man says the boost stays on,so that would prob make up the diff. 5% or a little more is not much on the street-punch it gone vs downshift go?
The question can go on forever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think we are arguing two different things here... Autos can be made to be deadly, on the street/track, BUT I, along with many other people, don't have 3+ grand for a built auto tranny. If he doesn't want to do anything with the tranny, then turbo is not a very good idea, since STOCK Honda AT's are weak.

dezod turbo . 5 psi on auto.. putting 170tq+ and 200 hp+ .. broke off a stock type S .. superchargers dont exist for that motor.. imo.. get a swap with k20.. better of a platform to build on..
