Well right now i'm leaning more towards a motorswap than a turbo kit, because I think it's more reliable for a daily driver. Although i'm gonna really miss having a turbo car.

I would swap...you will love the hp gain for a couple years, then you will have the money to turbo it and the GSR engine is a great turbo engine

If you swap a b18c5/itr please do yourself a favor and go k20.

Wouldn't it be more difficult to swap in the k20 than the b18? if so, then y would he be doing himself a favor by swapping in the k20 with only decent hp gains ove the b18

k20 are still on the works, not many people done it so its really hard to find info or anyone that can help with the swap. plus its very pricey and also hard to find a wiring harness for the 6th gen because the stock one for the k20 is too short. also i dont even think the motor mounts for the k20 for 6gen civic are out yet, there are only prototypes which is not even release to the public. the only motor mounts i seen for the k20 released is the k20 in a dc2. which is about $900-$1000.

theres already the mounts out at http://www.hybrid-racing.com/.

Im not advertising for them, btw (some d**k head flamed me because I posted the link last time).

You're right that it is still a ways away from being complete, but it has massive amounts of potential. Especially when its mated with the CRV block (K24).

b18c: 200Hp 134Trq 11.1 Compression(JDM
k20a: 220 Hp 158Trq 11.5 Compression (JDM)

H22 is also a very good platform to go with.. it love nitrous (which is cheap). Id still say wait for the K series to take off though, as you will regret it later. Simple bolt on's (IHE) are adding +20whp. Not to mention IVtec screams

LS/VTEC can get pretty expensive and unreliable if not done properly
