only difference I ever noticed was the thickness they could cut. the one at work can cut it's something like 1 inch steel plate. besides that's it's pull an drag

I want to see your first tig attempt. worst part of tig is all your metal needs to be perfectly clean an shiny. none of that scale that comes with steel
I clean all of my metal before i weld. Makes it so much nicer

Ill need tungsten and new welding gloves and some dedicated wire brushes
I don't even wear welding gloves? neither do the other two guys when they tig. idk normally if my hands start to burn then I know my heats too high or I'm about to warp some s**t

brushes are a good idea. though I always just use a flapper wheel

make sure you get the right tungsten and different size cups

Well i realize its been weeks since i posted but i still havent had time to plug it in and turn it on. Im planning on getting a bottle of gas today and some filler rod and wire brushes and a water trap and fittings for my plasma also and play around a little possibly.

I also want to order my other oil cooler and get some stainless to build a turbo manifold.
